It would seem that this journal thing is not for me...One entry a year! Haven't had much time to experiment with photography in a long while. Life has just been busy busy busy. The pictures I do take, I've been a bit too picky with and haven't taken the time to do any post-processing... Oh well...

Wow, I haven't updated this in a LONG time. I've already been to Florida twice since  my last update.... Well, I have been saving up for a DSLR for quite some time. After trying several out, I've narrowed it down to a second hand Canon 20D, or if I can find a great deal, a 30D. I've been aching to make the jump into the DSLR world, but unfortunately for me, I have some of the most expensive passions/hobbies/obsessions. My savings is constantly being pulled every which way by: A) Photography B) Drumming and music in general C) Auto Racing D) Computers E) An odd love for IKEA....... Its very hard for me to focus my earnings into anyone

Well, I just went ahead and booked myself a flight to Florida, and a rental car to tool around in. Its kind of lame that I'll be going by myself, but I need the time to get away and sort things out in my head and just relax. I'll visit some family and where I was born for kicks. I'm sure I will probably end up getting lost (and mugged and left for dead), but that's part of the fun. I'll be leaving on the 21st, and getting back the 27th. Sort of a short trip, but I plan on making the most of it. Plus, I don't have to pay for a hotel, I can shack up in a family friend's vacation home by the beach, so I'll have an entire house to myself. It sho
